1. The Service

SafeBrowse provides browser-based tools intended to help users block selected websites and content, including domain blocking, keyword filtering, allowlists, and user-configured protection settings.

2. No guarantee of complete blocking

SafeBrowse cannot guarantee that every adult, inappropriate, unwanted, or otherwise restricted website or piece of content will be detected or blocked. Websites, URLs, content, browser behavior, and blocking techniques can change.

3. User responsibility

You are responsible for configuring your block lists, keywords, allowlists, and other settings appropriately and for complying with applicable laws and third-party website terms.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the Service to interfere with systems you do not own or control, circumvent security or access controls, or violate applicable law.

5. Intellectual property

SafeBrowse and its original software, website content, branding, and designs are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of those materials to you.

6. Third-party websites

SafeBrowse may be used while visiting third-party websites. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, security, privacy practices, or policies.

7. Disclaimer

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation or error-free blocking.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SafeBrowse and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Service.
